I got vps raptor 5 with hosting-ie. Upload speeds are great. Average is 3Mb up on private torrents. Seen it up to 6.4Mb, but that is the highest. What are others getting? I was able to upload to someone the the same country at 4.5Mb for a whole torrent.
Dedicated or vps?whats the different..I want to hire with a friend but not share it with anyone else.dedicated eh?
dedicated opws ta les, alla polla ta eura.

Using a 100Mbit seedbox as example
Dedicated - You have the whole 100Mbit connection to yourself, not sharing with anyone else. So you can expect high speeds around 7-8MB/s upload (reached that kind of speed on Vectoral)
VPS - You share the 100Mbit connection with other people, so the speed you are getting is alot less compared to Dedicated. I had a seedbox on Leeware, speeds around 2-5MB/s upload.
VPS is alot cheaper than Dedicated, depends on whats your budget range. a dedicated could cost you around 50-60 a month for a decent one (if you split the cost with your friend).
Hi There i'm going to be getting a VPS in a few days and just have a few questions Is Leeware good for doing torrents and is it easy to install and also should i get a linux or a windows does it matter i just want to torrent and one more question is gate.com good for VPS to thanks in advance
http://www.exmasters.com/dedicated/dedicated-unmetered/
I have there 10Mbit unmetered ,good servers and good speeds. Decently priced dedicated servers and I cant fault them both in speed and service.
Well, other people have got good results with Leeware but I have VERY slow uploading speeds, so slow I am considering cancelling my subscription.
However, it does not matter if the server runs linux as far as torrents is concerned. uTorrent can be emulated fine using Wine under Linux (see the guide elsewhere in here), and Azureus is readily available for Linux as well.
