Don't underestimate the swedes..
I've always thought it was better to do open with sign ups to build a user base and then get rid of the bad apples once you've closed the open sign ups.

You should consider getting your own specialization like someone said before it makes the tracker's reputation increasing...and create mysteries around the tracker that's some other idea...
