Starcraft 2's closed beta testing is starting this month! You need to have a Battle.net account with at least one Blizzard game on it, and then opt in with their account.

So is there any real release date yet for this game or what? Seems like they just keep delaying it for whatever reason(s).

Nope, no official date yet. Hopefully due to beta starting already, it should be soon.

It's fucking Blizzard. We'll be lucky if it's released in the next two years. At least we'll know it'll be good...
Edit: Looked at some of the cracks for the beta, seems like the best you can do right down is play on an empty map without opponents. Better than nothing, I guess.
