imo (which isn't always right) if you want to upgrade.. upgrade for $100. if you can wait (like me) wait until next gen consoles come out then upgrade the vcard.Why? I've planned to buy one...
cuz consoles pave the way for new gfx nowadays anywho.

Man I just bought the Hd6850 Graphics card, now they coming out with the 7000 series next year. 384bit memory interface, that is crazy, now I really want to get one along with the fx8120 8 core processor...lol

I feel it's more the case of restrict rather than pave. When a new console comes then yes they do pave the way but when it comes to aged consoles like currently then they restrict due to being made to work on them.
