    imo (which isn't always right) if you want to upgrade.. upgrade for $100. if you can wait (like me) wait until next gen consoles come out then upgrade the vcard.

    cuz consoles pave the way for new gfx nowadays anywho.

    Man I just bought the Hd6850 Graphics card, now they coming out with the 7000 series next year. 384bit memory interface, that is crazy, now I really want to get one along with the fx8120 8 core processor...lol

    I feel it's more the case of restrict rather than pave. When a new console comes then yes they do pave the way but when it comes to aged consoles like currently then they restrict due to being made to work on them.
