I have a friend i grew up with Meg, and he dropped out of high school, he just couldn't handle school...

So he went into his parents printing and box making business. Now this guy could take apart and build any machine you could think of!!

In the first year he built 2 automated machines, to build plastic price tags that all the retail stores started to use, He made millions of dollars more for his family business in less than a year...

So i say education is good for some people, if the field they warrant needs it, Doctor, Lawyer, Candle Stick Maker...

If a politician has graduated College/University, but there policies are terrible!!!!

My permanent diagnosis from my Physiatrist is *Incomplete Quadriplegia* i had to relearn how to walk. While doing that, medications that were prescribed put me in Acute Respiratory Failure and (without exaggeration) came close to killing me.

You know i have very very bad back and kidney issues, and at 57 i am lucky i can still live with them being scared shit if they do have to operate the success may be a wheel chair....
My wife Shaina having MS, has basically turned me into a PSW/Nurse/Doctor, she is still walking with the aid of a walker...

Higher education can teach specific information for specific areas and/or teach one how to think logically AND critique the quality of sources. Critical thinking.

To me the problem is how people today define Critical thinking Meg....

All 3 of my Children are well educated and all have good jobs (2 have great jobs), in the fields they chose and pretty much close to the education they got in University....
Saying that...
None of them went into family businesses.......And got there jobs on hard work and Merit.........

Critical thinking can't be defined of changing a countries constitution and democracy, and laws, without the majority of the population approval.....

In the senate some votes are not this....

But is 50.1 percent of the population considered the majority ??

Again you can always leave and go to a place you think suits your values if you are not happy....
