    Your best bet would be to split the costs with someone and get something decent like a zephyr from vectoral.

    * Intel® Pentium™ IV 2.4 GHZ
    * 1024MB DDR-RAM
    * 80GB 7.2K RPM IDE-HDD
    * 3000GB Bandwidth

    Pre Order Monthly: $84.95 - Setup fee: $19.95

    Regarding windows xp i haven't seen any companies offering it, you'll most likely be getting a flavor of windows 2003 server instead which works in a similar way.

    Keep in mind that you'll have to pay an extra fee for the windows 2003 server license with some companies.

    Microsoft® Windows Server 2003™ Web Edition - $17.95/month -> vectoral

    You can also install a flavor of linux for free, there are guides here on how to set things up for linux.

    When you have a Windows 2003 Server you do indeed have to pay the license. I believe the Web edition is $17 one time fee at Vectoral. Do yourself a favor and get Fedora, doesn't matter which version. Then read this guide on how to setup utorrent:

    EDIT: 45 British pounds = 94.6 US dollars - use Google to convert currency.

    Actually the license is a monthly recurring fee according to what's written on their site

    Microsoft® Windows Server 2003™ Web Edition - $17.95/month

    and

    85.00 USD=40.6327 GBP
