Hey everyone, Just wondering if this is possible at all.

In a few weeks i will be buying a laptop to replace this current computer and will be giving this computer to my bro because his is super old and slow etc.

I have had to go to his house to fix his comp every month he has had it up to now so when this goes there, Im gonna install windows XP and all the programs he may need (Java, msn, mIRc etc etc) and if its possible, I want to make a disk, So when he screws up, he just puts it in and its back to normal in an hour or so.

Any idea's if any software does this for me? Or maybe its a longer process? Or maybe, just maybe...Im screwed and nothing does this

I think he is looking for more of a JIC "Just in Case" disc, so that if his brother messes it up, he can recover and make the computer functional again.

Thanks for the help guys, I will check out:

    Norton (Gasp!) Ghost
    Acronis true image workstation
    Windows UEE

And see if any of them will do what i want them to do, Im thinking Windows UEE may have too many programs he wont even use though, Worth checking out anyway, May be useful for me

You mean you want to make a customized Windows XP CD that'd install Windows XP by automatically putting in your name, product key, timezone and regional settings? Followed by installing all your favorite apps?

Here's another alternative on making your personalized Windows XP Installation Disk...

    Good luck.
