They tricked me comrade they'd play these ads for puzzle games that went on for 10 seconds until the X appeared but the solutions to the puzzles didn't appear until after the 10 seconds and I'd find my self angrily waiting for the X but at the same time waiting to see what the solution was thus watching longer than needed

Yeah... truff! Back in '87 I was flying from Tampa to Dallas to play solicitor and close on some properties for one of me close mates... so the flight is was a wee long and I hit the T&T's

pretty hard, (it was a red eye flight after all!)... dozed off for a bit... needed something to do when I woke, so I grabbed one of those "In Flight" magazines from the bin in front of me. I

opened it randomly to a life insurance ad and the heading said, "Are You Covered?"... being bit groggy I squinted me eyes and saw all the beautiful people on a plane in the ad surrounded and

engulfed by... flames trying to get out of their seats and escape the flames! I did the squinty bit 3 more times with same result.

I heard about drive-in theaters splicing cups of coca-cola and boxes of popcorn into the films very quickly to increase sales at the snack bar, but that was my first experience with it in a

static ad ...and ad on a plane no less!

ALL and in many forms I believe they call it... "Subliminal Advertising"... I thought it became illegal.
