Hey, I heard that Angels and Demons by dan Brown was good. What do you all think. I loved the Davinci code, but would like other opinions before I buy it.

I liked it. I think it was better than the da vinci code, but had read several books with the same theme just before I had read da vinci

I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it. (Terry Prattchet)

Yes the movie certainly doesnt do justice to the book. Overall, its good page turner although some of your religious elders might consider the book blasphemy.

    That's what I've heard.

As for blasphemy, That;s just BS . On the back of the book it clearly states "Fiction" as its genre (the Da Vinci Code). I remember the whole thing that the book claimed to be all fact, well people who said that didn't read the book. It said in the begining that 2 things were face. opus dei existed and Priory of sion existed.

If you enjoyed the da vinci code I think you should enjoy this too - they're pretty similar in overall tone really

Hm I'm trying to think of more to say but I can't, it's a while since I read it! I think dan brown's books are pretty good holiday stories to read on a plane or on the beach, personally. I've also read Digital Fortress - I can't remember which book I noticed it but his books DO get a little bit samey when you read several of them

They always start off with someone dying, and they always end up with someone having sex

I have read all four of DB's books and they were all a good read

Angels and Demons is a damn good read.

All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.
