well, some sites claim Sir Alex bought him so he can be substitue for Eto'o ^^
anyway, hes experienced player now and if he can get away from injuries he can be solid back up, personally i think his "skills" declined over time, not only his "form" and he is not investment that will pay off double or triple...
certainly, he will be good back up if he can maintain some decent form and be healty as much as he can
Why do most ManU fans cry over this news?
I'm a ManU fan, and I'll give you 5 reasons why Owen is the best thing that has happened to us this summer
1. He was a free transfer
2. He will be payed on a per goal basis, meaning, if he don't score, he don't get paid
3. His still got 5-7 seasons ahead of him (his 29 years old)
4. We need 3 up front, to play 4-3-3, with valencia/nani on the right, anderson/scholes/carrick/fletcher in the middle, and park/giggs on the left
5. Owen will link well with Valencia
