    Hey what kinda of speed are you getting dling from the box with an ftp, not sftp?

    I get max speed of my cable connection using Filezilla transferring 3 files simultaneously.

    you should enable the tracker in utorrent and download via bittorrent

    i was getting 10kbps when dling with firefox.

    Can you please explain how to do that?

    I have shitty speeds, but only with SFTP connection, since i didn't manage to connect via FTP

    very low speeds, a tenth of my connection using ws_ftp.
    anyone has a better idea.

    use a download manger which cuts files into sections
    IDM and FDM do this
