With the amount of cheating that tries to go on there? No.
But with a 180-some-thousand members it's not hard to find someone in your circle of friends who's a member with invites.

well, in fact oink is one of the few sites, that allows invite trading.
It's account trading/selling they have big time issues with. They're however not the only site against those things. If you look at alot of sites most of them are against it.

No offense to you personally, but it's often the invites given away on a whim/to strangers/carelessly that jeopardize sites.
You'd be surprised though at the number of "Why, yes I do use that site"s you might get when asking around the dorm/pub/office, etc.
