I've been trying to download a couple of movies and on all i've got ARTICLT NOT FOUND, i'm not sure if its just because of virgin or they truely are no longer available! I've tried movies from various sites but here are just some i tried from this site:

I just tried the first link you posted, and I got no problems. I was fine for downloading, so it must be you....somehow.
Isn't Virgin's retention only 7 days or so? You need a premium usenet server.

120 days might be text groups. IIRC it's only 7 days for binaries.
