Thread: How does rapidshare work?

  1. #1
So I signed up and I know they have a limit of 25gigs/5 days.

So say I downloaded 10 gigs on my first day. 72 hours later when I check how much I have downloaded it still says 10 gig! Now does this thing reset back to 0 every 5 days?

I believe it's a rolling 5 day period where the 25GB limit is imposed. So, your total is everything that has been download in the previous 5 days. I'm not sure how often this is updated (whether it's once a day, every hour, etc.)

So if you downloaded 6GB today, you'll 'get back' 6GB 5 days later so to speak.
