Lunch break question, when at work.

    Do you:

    a) Take it during the middle of the day.

    b) Take it early.

    c) Take it late in the day so when you get back you only have a couple more hours to work.

    d) Do nothing between 11am and 4pm and if the boss asks you what you're up to tell him you've just started your lunch break.

    e) Other, please explain

d, is the cleverest option but a combination of c & d is the best way to waste the day. sometimes i would go to mac donalds or the cafe before work, start work at 4pm, then after about an hour, go to get munch from the shop or mc's again as the boss would leave at 5:30ish, then go for an hour break at lunch time, i did because i could.

    Other.

I never do any work between 12 and one - which is when the girls have their lunch-break. I usually fanny about on the internets. I don't eat at that time, tho'.

If I do eat, then I'll go home or to my Mam's for food when I fancy getting out of the office for a bit. Either that or survive on coffee till I go home for dinner.

I used to eat rolls, crisps and chocolate in wurk but decided I'd end up fat like Bo if I carried on
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

--Good for them if they survive.

The cleverest option (which I just though up) would be to skive all day and if you're not caught out (and thus have to use the lunch excuse) then leave work hour/half-hour early saying you can because you skipped lunch. :sage:

Fuck off, Allen, you've been unemployed since 1987.

McDonalds wasn't even invented in the UK back then.

they banned us from using that ( lunch at the end of the day) excuse. but then again we had no boss for many years so they made one of us supervisor.
