    Really wonder, how old is the rabbit and the wheel ?
    Is it b4 FST were established or after ?
    Did they also opened the signup at the first opening ?

    a.) almost 3 years old, i believe
    b.) the oldest post in the bittorrent discussion is from 2003, so after
    c.) i don't recall either of them ever being open signups, but in their infancy invites were really easy to come by

    c) wheel had signup in the begining.. I don't know about rabbit..

    They must have had open signups in the beginning but i don't think they've had open signup for more then 2-2.5 years

    Yeh, UK never has, it's a rebirth of a previous site which was raided by the authorities, that's why this revision of the site was never opened for signups.

    As far as I am aware the rabbit also never had open signups, and is the incarnation of another site that didn't give a farque.

    Both sites are offspring of long standing communities, so they have been around for some considerable (in torrent terms) time.

    The oldest standing file sharing site still is FileList, which must be chalking up it's fourth year by now.
