The run rate's pretty high, are you watching this manker? Are they actually going for it, or do you think they're playing safe...

I'm watching it, it's a bit fuzzy on my TV card but I can see what they're up to.

They are definitely not going for it.

The reason that the run rate is high is due to the bowling tactics and field settings, it's encouraging Australia to hit out and, hopefully, make errors.

The attacking field setting leaves gaps for the batsmen to exploit. The batsmen are doing okay at the minute, but Vaughan is reading the situation particularly well.
