On a serious note I have downloaded a few virtual drives(filedisk, fantomdvd) and none has worked with madden 06..Although they will succeed in getting madden onto your system it will not get passed the disc check...I have The latest alcohol on my other cpu so I decided to put madden on it until daemon or alcohol (heard the beta versions are already out) come out with x64 versions...
And yes I am on the x64 OS...I know that If I was on windows xp alcohol would work but there would be no point in having a 64 bit processor if its only being half used...Some people may not see the diffrence but everyone of my programs loads faster, runs faster and just feels a lot better than when this same exact cpu was on windows xp with sp2.

after successfully installing the program. I have tried all of the options listed here to get madden 2006 to start up with no luck. I tried to mount it in the latest version of alcohol 120. I get a message that I have emulation software running and I need to disable it and start it again. I tried to mount it in daemon with all emulation turned on it crashes the computer. I tried this with it as an mds/mdf and as a bin/cue. any one else have luck with it?

works perfectly w/ dameon 3.47 w/ cd1 .mds mounted and i use only the safedisk emulation, but i've heard it works w/ daemon w/ all the emulation options off.
edit:btw my advice would be to uninstall the alcohol and then try w/ daemon 3.47

I dont have it with any of the emulation options on and it works perfectly. I also remember reading somewhere that some people were having the game skip during kick off and field goals. I set my refresh frequency to 60 and its running real smooth with all the highest setting (ATI AIW 9000, 768 system memory and a P4 2.8 HT), just thought someone would like to know.
