    I got bored so I decided to give Stardock ObjectDock a shot. So far I'm impressed, screenshot coming soon.

    just grab and drop them onto the desktop
    watch them explode
    or
    in configuration remove icons

    No, not the icons from the dock. Those are fine, customized every single one myself.

    I meant the icons on my desktop, My Computer, My Documents, etc. I can't delete the My Computer icon.

    Right click on your desktop and select Arrange Icons By> Remove checkmark from: Show Desktop Icons.
