alright, i configured outlook 2003 wit all the gmail settings and everything checked out in the test. I sent a couple of emails and they all got sent, but my inbox shows no messages, neither the ones already in my gmail or ones i recieve

go to Gmail > settings > Forwarding & POP3
and verify that POP download is enabled for new mail.
