the best thing about farcry was the non linear levels - rediculously big non linear levels

Yup, no set route meant you could replay levels and do them a totally different way. Each level had like 5 different ways of getting somewhere. By Truck/Boat/Walk/Swim with different enemies. You could stealth it round the island or go all American and shoot anything that moves everything.

Oblivion owns all at the moment, in the visuals department.....but i'm really looking forward to the new Quake Wars game, which looks pretty good, and I think I will be buying that instead of Battlefield 214789 or whatever the hell it's called.
