    photoshop all the way.. its great... and really customisable

    you can find cool brushes nearly anywhere on the internet!

    well, depends, if you are talking price over performance better go with paint shop, it got really nice effect build in for the normal home user,

    talking about performance, photoshop, cause it really a number of users, the filters really nice to play

    photoshop elements also may be a choice

    Im a phtoeditor and I work a professional photo lab, and all the computers have Photo 7.0 & Painter

    Just install all 3 of em, and whenever you need something that one of them doesn't have, use another.
