Updating AV Program

The time has come for me to update my Anti Virus again but with there being so many on the market I'm struggleing to choose one. I have read the sticky in guides and tutorials but still cant make my mind up.

I have always been loyal to the big two of McAfee and Norton but the competion must be greatly increased now.

What are the recommendations on here? I'm not bothered if it is free or needs to be 'purchased'
