    in no particular order

    Quarashi - Jinx
Couldn't decide between jinx and xeniezes. They're about 70% the same. I think jinx is just a rehashed version of xeniezes that they made to sell in america
Can't remember how i heard of these. I suppose there's no real standout tracks, but it's all good. Cheesy as hell but good. Couldn't put it on loop though.

    Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP
I'm pretty sure this is my first ever copied CD. i didn't have a PC or anything, it just appeared in my house one day .
The only CD my dad has ever told me to "turn that crap off" over.
The best tracks are probably all of them. this album will never get old

    Dropkick Murphys - Blackout
I downloaded this album after hearing time to go on tony hawks underground. My first Dropkicks album and it's debatable over whether it's the best. I reckon it's my favourite though. Not one weak track on it.

    Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030
I first heard of these, kid koala, dan the automator and del the funky homosapian of gorillaz fame in the days of napster. they were among the reccomended artists somewhere. Probably the first full album i ever downloaded back when i had a 56K modem and had to pay by the minute.

Rage Against the Machine - The Battle of Los Angeles
This list was easier than i thought it would be to put together, then harder to choose a fifth album than i expected. I was thinking a SOAD or antiflag album but decided on an RATM one instead. I first heard of these from a friend at school. he put bullet in the head on and i said it was crap. later on i DLed some RATM and realised it was teh_roka and i was wrong. first choice to annoy the nieghbours when i have to let off steam

oh wait now i have to do my top 5
of stuff from the past 10 years

these are really in no particular order, they were hard enough to choose

The Beta Band - The Three EPs
a collection of the three EPs (duh) that lead up to their self-titled album.

    Sparklehorse - Good Morning Spider
if you don't like it, wait for the next song, it will be completely different. if you get through the whole thing without liking at least half of them, something's wrong with you

The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin
this one only won over "Clouds Taste Metallic" because overall, it is more cohesive and accessible. A solid masterpiece.

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works, Vol. II
well this came out in '94, but i still listen to it at least once a month

and i don't care if it doesn't quite qualify, but i'm adding
    Dr. Dre - The Chronic
because most white people wouldn't even pay attention to rap music if it weren't for this (& the following snopp dogg album).

My top 5, not in any order really..I like em all the very same

    1. The Crystal Method - All of em
    2. DJ Shadow - Entroducing (I'm very surprised you picked him, many don't know about him, but his music is godly.)
    3. Staind - Break the Cycle
    4. Korn - Greatest Hits (I'm not a huge metal fan, but Korn has that nice touch in bass)
    5. (Mr Scruff) - Get a Move On (Acid Jazz/Chill Out. Feels just like jazz, with a movie kick!)

    some extra:
Heaviest Metal I've ever heard: Hatebreed and Slipknot (only good for action movies)
Most artistic albums I've heard: Moby and Stomp!
