I just stumbled upon pandora.com, a site that takes music from your likings and makes an internet radio station out of it.

it seems quite good. however, it gives only the first 10 hours free.

i'm wondering how it stores how long you've visited the site for. is there a way to keep deleting the timer or something so i can use the site forever?

Its a great site without question. Think Ive gone past the ten hours though Im not sure.
Think they stated non paying account would be subject to ads in the future...

EDIT: Looking at this post age maybe theyve changed that limit since.

Cookies and/or storing your IP/username in the database of the site.

Clearing cookies, changing your ip(or using a proxy), and getting a new username (if there is one) is sure to give you another 10 minutes.

Same here. I've had it running for more than ten hours and no limit.

Well, except the hourly number of times you can skip a song, but that's always been the case.

Also same. I've never even hit a skip limit, as I tend to love 90% of what Pandora throws at me.

I'm sure that they have changed the limits, as an unregistered user you could hear 5 songs I believe, then after I registered, it has been non-stop.
