Unless you get it from a decent private torrent site i wouldn't even bother with Bittorent either. Newsgroups & FTP's are far better methods of getting anything.

I wish i knew were to find some ftp's, but other than that i use BT and Newsgroups. I find nothing wrong with BT, 90% of the time it goes as fast as my ISP allows.
You don't find FTP's. You get giving axx to FTP's in exchange for stuff (not money). Usually you offer to curry files, or you know the siteop well and he'l get you a leech slot.
