    You think them bags are water tight? go get a new loaf of bread and submerse it in water for 20 mins, I garentee you it'll go soggy.
    Put it this way, would you use a bread bag to put a $1000 camera in to keep it dry?

    If there are no hole in the plastic then yes, it will be fine.

    No I would not submerse the entire bag. There is an end that you open that could get water through it but as you can see, she has her hand around it.
