manker is the name for the spellcheck bot present in the Filesharingtalk.com vBulletin installation.
manker works by spidering all posts of the forum, starting in the lounge. When there are no new posts to check in the lounge, manker wanders off to other areas of the board to check spelling.
The manker spellchecker corrects spelling by quoting a person's post, or in the case of a long post just a single paragraph or sentence, and highlights the incorrect spelling, often including a frustated-type smiley or phrase.
To make the manker bot seem more realistic, it is programmed to make an occasional post or two regarding matters other than spelling - mainly to argue with, or belittle, another member.
