Clark did not fly, Tom Welling has a "no flights no tights" rule, the only reason we have actually seen any flying in this show is because they are using the cover of Kal-El. He jumped up to that nuke, if he was not jumping, why did he need to climb up it? Why not just fly straight to the top?
