well i built a computer for a friend but the mobo is a bit outdated and doesnt support semprons and gives me the error "error 0163 press F1 to continue"
it boots to windows and everything works fine but pushing f1 every time you turn on/restart your computer can be quite annoying

so i need to flash the bios but i dont have a floppy drive...
so is there anyway to flash it using a cd-drive

btw the mobo is Asus K8V-X with a sempron 2800+ S754

    Thanks

Isn't there a utility for an online update?

The CrashFree BIOS 2 feature now includes the BIOS auto-recovery function in a support CD. Users can reboot their system through the support CD when a bootable disk is not available, and go through the simple BIOS auto-recovery process.
ASUS motherboards now enable users to enjoy this protection feature without the need to pay for an optional ROM.
