if i see national symbols in sigs or avs i wonder whether the person has a confused identity - i could understand that maybe on "military" or "diplomatic" forums one is forced to do so but other than that i find it scary.

Probably for the same reason I request postage stamps that are nature based instead of flag based.

i believe in one world, with no one tribe/country is better then another, so I prefer to view people on their merit, and not based on their nationality and i wouldn't want peoples opinion of me to be biased by my nationality

No, no. I only call stupid people idiots.

I don't want one nationality because that menagerie will dilute all the beautiful culturism that currently exists. The last part of your statement is common sense and is what all reasonable people do.

Btw, if you want to be judged on your own merits, rather than your own nationality clouding matters, please do Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites the same courtesy.
