Rose, you must have missed the posts made leading up to our election.. and before even, damning the BNP (British National Party) for playing on racism..
If there is no racism to play on, then they wouldnt have been able to do this.
There is nowhere in the world that is free of racism/bigotry, unfortunatly.
There are merely places more/less racist/bigoted than others.
Austria, as an example, is still not a nice place to live if you are Jewish.. 60 years after WWII. This does not mean that all Austrians are anti-jewish, they arent by a long shot.
