Xbox360...Unimpressive?

I think its funny how most buyers will buy the systems based on what they look like.

Just on what the outside plastic rectangle looks like...haha.

But hey, it sells in computers (black cases w/ clear side panels and blue lights) and makes the buyers say "OOOOOOOOOO SO COOL!" and then find out it has a Pentium 1 and a 4 GB hard drive, just fitted up in a nice new case.

As for it being a entertainment center. The Gamecube chose to not do DVD's or music or any of that and just be a games machine and look at how that turned out.

The only company of the three actually making money off their console, due to the relative cheap production costs.

If you count into the equation all of N's business they're making a higher profit than both Microsoft and Sonys game divisions.

you know whats not going to be unimpressive the ps3. its look ugly and garbage.

know what would've been impressive? if they'd been gracious enough to include a UMD drive on the PS3. okay so supporting PSP games on PS3 might've been too much trouble cause there'd be a whole emulation thing involved. but the option of watching PSP movies on something else besides your PSP? such as watching PSP movies on PS3? would that just make too much sense? considering how much Sony's hyped the supposed backward-compatibility of their Playstations.

i dunno. the idea of buying movies that can ONLY be viewed on PSP (and not on a television) seems kinda ridiculous to me.

I completely agree with u on this. It would prolly have been a lot smarter to do this considering a lot more ppl would choose a PS3 over an Xbox 360 because of the integration (including me). They prolly could even have made the drive optional if they wanted to.

That's one of the smartest decisions Sony made for a mass of dumb consumers.

It's a "look I gotta new gadget syndrome" that has basically lead consumers to buy movies playable on what can only be deemed as one portable DVD player.

One must ask themselves if they would have previously bought movies for only 1 portable player before.........

Mind you, the PSP is a nice system but buying movies for it that only play on it is just fucking stupid.
