theres like 3 separate OVAs and a series, so all in all > 32 episodes
check out some ofwukka's assembled anime links and you'll probably find them

I must admit that full metal alchemist was the best series ever no questions asked. Also dragonball z was really good. tenchi muyo was cool and last but not least naruto. I hate samurai champloo for some reason.

to find anime, my recommendations are:
1) if its a complete series or movie/ova check www.boxtorrents.com first
2) if its not there check anidb.net and there you can find which groups fansubbed it, then you should try and track down those groups websites which should tell you how to get it (either by following links on anidb or google or on bakaupdates.com)
3) checking a.scarwater.net might be an idea
4) all else fails check www.isohunt.com
5) if even that fails you probably need to use emule and that is going to take ages. (EDIT: actually dc++ is probably better than emule, but i have no experience using it.)
