    Since early today every time i turn my monitor on it makes this quiet, high pitched humm, and it is driving me nuts, what the hell is it?

    yea mine does that sometimes...

    but im ocing my monitor its running@1600x1200@75hz its suppose to run at 60hz

    actually the refresh rate might be the problem, I just switched from nix to windows, and windows is configured differently, I just gotta reboot to nix again.
