Today i received a BSOD from windows stating that it encountered a problem with ati2dvag... So i turned off my computer, and then decided to look inside my computer (i hadn't opened it in the last 3-4 months). I noticed so much dust inside it , on the fans,in the heat sink, and video card. My main question is that, does anyone know a recommended item i could use to clean the dust off, and uh,.... could the dust in the computer be the cause of the BSOD? thanks in advanced...

A quick Google search brought up all sorts of problems with that specific .dll ( a part of the ATI display driver adaptor).
Reinstalling chipset/video drivers with the latest versions might help.

i clean my computer using a paintbrush and a vacuum cleaner

it's worth dusting out the case once in a while, last time i cleaned i think my temperatures went down something like 8ºC, or thats just hyperbole

I use a small art brush(natrual fibres) to gently clean the dust from the heatsink/fan arrangement,When I used canned air I was getting moisture in the airstream.
Then I use my vaccum cleaner to carefully suck the dust from the bottom of the casing, just make sure not to get to near the m/b with the nozzle.

you could use those canned air things but i find them expensive. They sell like for 5 bucks at walmart.

I use a straw and blow to a certian spot and it works very well.
