Also when you post news a mod looks at it first and then puts it up right?

correct. remember to post sources though. really annoying reading something cool and want to see the link and it's missing.
i'd also recommend not posting a "speech". keep it brief, 2 paragraphs max and then the links for people that are interested
don't forget to include a small image if possible looks nicer.
I learnt my lesson early, aways chech first that your not double posting . The mods are very helpful too use them when you have questions .
Nice first news post by the way.
i didnt clearly understand everything it said so i asked here. Also the picture in the news. How do you put it there.

If you are using the image posting script and u open that news images index page you can just click on the image and it is inserted to the post page.Originally Posted by peat moss
If you find a new image AFTER making a post and want to change it, you can edit the [news] tag, or make a new one if you didn't have an image before posting.
For example:
can be changed toPHP Code:
This is a news post
PHP Code:
[news=URLTOTHEIMAGEFOESHERE]This is a news post[/news]
Hope that explains it a little, it's a lot like using the [url] tag.
