    Does anybody know a good way to do this? I tried the "patch" method on videohelp.com but it didnt work and the tmpgenc take ages.

    Does anybody know a fastish way?

    will IFOedit convert it the other way around also? (pal to ntsc)

    ifo edit is what I used and a big line appeared in the dvd and the audio stuttered

    anyway you put it you still have to like encode the video again whitch takes time and there may be a loss of quality

    The encoding is relative to the speed of your processor and amount of ram you have,so increasing them should help.

    the easiest thing is the get a multi region player. They dont cost that much and could play PAL and NTSC.

    Istead of encoding everything you watch you just put it in and watch.
