At least it should make Wednesday night's game interesting, it will give Lampard, Gerrard and Wright-Phillips the chance to play their natural game roles rather than fit around Becks.

Also having Rooney and Owen up front on Wednesday will be great 'cos Owen looked teh hot today whereas Peter Crouch was just a gangly leggy fuck

Gerrard's out, i also wanna see SWP get a decent game tho, Rio "Im a coke head with a bad haircut" will start cause Sol is out.

I didn't know Sol is still playing. He's sooo old.

I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

This year we had a midfielder who played for the first time in the national team @ the age of 35

Quite right.. SWP would be total pants as a central defender.

    Teddy Sheringham is 39

i think the peak age for a centre back is generally considered to be about 30-33ish

Tony Adams retired at 36, at the time he was one of the Premiership's best defenders

Think how good he'd have been if he wasn't smacked off his tits all of the time.

I think 26-29 is a good age for both.

Central defenders can be a bit older because they don't have to do that much running.
