sorry if this is in the wrong section

right even though visordown is set as my home page when i now open it it takes me here http://www.patchyoursystem.com/ and i keep geeting lots of pop up`s for porn and telling me to get this and that spywear thing and my browers keeps moving up and down on its own. i`ve got norton internet security and its fully updated but i think its shite. any idea what i should do?????????????

it will detect most of the adware/spyware.

also use Hijackthis to check if there is still something installed.

NIS is not setup by default to block pop-ups. Of which, what version is it that you are running? So unless, you have never before checked the control panel after installing it, odds are likely that this function of the firewall is "turned off". And if memory serves, some versions of NAV are also not setup by default to catch ad/spyware (by default, I am referring to the settings and system options in place directly after the first install). You would have to check this out as well.

right i got and run microsoftanti spy wear and it found i had a plug-in that was causeing the pop up and its gone and i still can`t change but start up page.
