    Anyone having problems with the Giganews servers, both the US and the European?

    I was getting 1.4mb a sec on my 10Mb Blueyonder cable connection yesterday and this morning. Now I'm only getting 1/10th of that. It's not my end either, I did a speed check and I got a 1394k/sec result. Nor is it my client. I normally use Newbin Pro, but I installed Newsleecher and I'm getting the same speeds.

    Try changing the port being used by the client. If that still does not work they (Giganews) may be experiencing problems or a spool has gone done.

    I sorted it. I didn't have enough connections open.
