This is a rather pointless topic as it's easy to seed 150% or higher if you have the bandwidth to support it and enough people to leech it. If you seed 1 to 1 then your good in my book. The thing that really gets to me is if you have someone with a with a 2,3,4,500KB/s UL bandwidth and they go out and seed 800% while leaving everyone else to settle at 50%.

I may not seed every file to 500% (depends on how many leechers there are), but I leave my seeds up for a long time. I usally have 3-4:1 ratio at the sites I frequent...

for every member to seed to 150% (means a ration of 1.5) u will need a new mathematics
the current one does not support a ration bigger than 1.0 (actually (1- 1/n-1)where n is the number of times the file was snatcheda and also assuming all people have the same ratio (except the uploader which should be one)
for 100 snatches on a torrent, this is approximately 0.99 which mean 99% for all members
anyone know how to prove the equation above?

Its not too hard to believe at all. I copy the files that I download to a separate directory and then leave the original files that were downloading seeding. Granted I only download on one bt site, so I dont worry about getting rid of the files afterwards unless they become unregistered with the tracker. I have some files that are seeded to 800%
