Wile seeding to 500% would be nice,its just not practicle or possible for many people with regular dsl lines. I try to seed to 1.5-2.0. Also if everyone with a superfast connections seeded to 500% or more it would be even harder to others to seed well in my opinion.

There will always be leechers so seeding above 1:1 is possible but the concept of bit torrent was created so that no one person has to upload insane quantities. For all the people in this thread saying everyone should seed at least 150-200% should go back to high school math class - it is impossible. The reality is a lot these people bragging probably haven't gotten to high school yet so there is still hope.

Not possible on DSL with limited upload speed

i think 250% enough.
however, if seeders drops below 5 i can seed until the torrent totaly not in use (wasn't downloaded for a long time, about month or two)
