so people who are trying to download should get lower speeds just so everybody can keep their ratios?
It´s every man for himself.. If you cant upload at high speed to bad for you buy a seedbox or join sites with bonus systems and freeleech

I have IPTV which comes with 10Mbit Upload. So on some files and trackers I have a ratio of 2.0-10.0 even before I can finish the download.

This doesn't work for old files on something like Oink of course.

I usually seed well above 500% some times I'll seed to 40:1 and other times stop a little after 1:1 on most trackers I belong to I maintain a ratio of 10+

IMO time spend seeding is more important than ratio.

I keep at least a 1 ratio on all of my private bt sites. While I don't have an incredible upload speed, I do take some steps to increase the speeds of leechers. Too many people have their "number of peers to connect to per torrent" waaaaaaaaaaaay too high for their upload speed. Uploading to 20 people at 1.0kb/s is a great way to improve ratio, but not health of the torrent. Uploading 4 people at 5.0kb/s will improve their download speed and limit the number of random IPs you're connected too.

Yeah and it makes you feel all good inside when you're the last/next to last seeder on a torrent.
