Xp Question

if i install xp and delete win 98 will my programs still run right?
and if i install xp and keep 98 on will that take alot of space? and how will i switch back?

what progs are you talking bout, usally 98SE takes bout 300megs mostly and XP takes 1-2gigs, but depends on what you install
