    I averaged 30-40fps at 1280x960 4x/8x with all setting on high. Lost Coast is a system killer for sure and any game based on that engine will need very expensive hardware to play well.

    it works fine at 1024x768 on my PC (athlon64 3000+/1gig ram/9800pro). the changes are only subtle but i like them. maybe games could incorporate realistic flashbangs or light/dark traps in games in future

    I think they set the minimum requirements like that because they want you to have full settings or something. Maybe?
