Hi, I was wondering if anyone would happen to know how I can convert video files to MP4 format video file.
To be specific on what type of files I want to convert, Quicktime Movie files, AVI, WMV.
I usally use Canopus to convert my video files, but I noticed when I tried this time, that it does not convert to MP4.
Can anyone help me with this please?

Xilisoft video Converter, very fast I did a 700MB AVI to mp4 file in about 20min.
I found a copy on torrentspy.com

what is the benefit of converting to mp4? I am just asking because I am nosey like thatIs it better, smaller, what......

if you take a 700MB AVI file and convert it to a mp4 file it will be about 400MB
with little loss in picture of quality. and a mp4 plays better with quicktime then avi files.

And MP4 is the format of video the PSP can play...

EDIT ::Well I just tried Xlisoft, and the video converted perfectly but for some reason the sound is not synced to the video the sound is ahead of the video itself.
Any ideas?

I use Nero recode works great.
Xilisoft is the best software for it

It depends on how long the video is... converting like an hour of video to .mp4 will probibly take... yeah an hour. I put smaller shorter clips on my PSP...
