Games that revolutionized games

GTA3 is definetely up there. But i'd say Super Mario World, that game kicked ass, but i never go to beat it.

Started a new genre is what it did. Platforming gaming wouldnt be what it is without mario.

I'd say that the engine that HL2 runs is great, but what did it do for gaming. We see engines just like it, but its not revolutionizing anything. Great tho.

What about Grand Theft Auto? GTA 3 was just GTA in 3D and less fun, and a tad less open-ended
