Distributing A Purchased Copy Of Xp

I got my computer with XP HE on it and then called up HP and got them to send me the boot up discs for my OS. My ?? is can i take those same discs and intall XP onto my rents computer as long as i use the XP Keychanger Program off of kazza? I'm pretty sure this would work but just wanna make sure before i attempt to mess up my parents computer.
