Christmas Carols are being banned

due to being too religious and may offend people of other faiths.
Now I'm not religious in anyway but surely having to call "christmas lights" winter lights in the name of political correctness is just daft?

It's another case of Britain should be more multi-cultural bollocks. You don't get many british people going to Egypt for example, and saying "hmm, I'm offended by the lack of britishness, this country is racist" now do you?

Indeed, but my point is why should british tradition have to change for foreigners, when no other country that I'm aware of does.

Just like when we change laws for foeigners, for example my mother couldn't buy a place in dubai a few years ago cause she wasn't from the UAE, fair enough I say, their country, their rules, but imagine if that was the case over here though!?

Leave christmas alone,its commercial and fake and false,with some lovely real bits in it.

It's just like the time my mate was forced to take down his England flag in his student dorm place, becuase it might offend the foreign students.....they're in England for fuck sake!
